Important Information

Important information you need to know.

Running Deer values inclusiveness and confirms its continuing commitment to the principles of equal opportunity in employment, applications and in its business activities.

Running Deer endeavours to ensure that all members of staff, volunteers, associates, clients, suppliers and applicants for employment are treated on the basis of their merits and abilities and that no one suffers discrimination or disadvantage regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion, political beliefs or membership or non-membership of a Trade Union.

Running Deer takes Health and Safety very seriously.

Public Liability Insurance

  • We have Public Liability Insurance up to £5,000,000, however, these activities are outdoors and inevitably pose certain risks.

  • We make every effort to minimise risk to participants and ensure that Health & Safety issues are identified and communicated.  If you feel you would like to have your own insurance it would be worth you contacting a travel insurance provider who deal in outdoor pursuits.

  • We reserve the right to exclude any person whose behaviour endangers themselves or others, and is deemed inappropriate.  Participants are requested to provide any relevant medical and dietary information to staff at booking or before your activity starts.

Cancellations

  • Running Deer activities are all based outdoors and by their very nature are at the mercy of natural variables, and in particular the weather.  Whilst we make every effort to deal with these variables, there may be occasion where Running Deer is forced to cancel an event at short notice.  If this is the case you will be offered the option of an alternative date, if appropriate, or a full refund.
  • There may be occasions where Running Deer is forced to bring an activity to an early close.  In these circumstances will we offer you the opportunity to finish the activity at another time with no extra cost to yourself.
  • Some of our activities require a critical number of participants in order to go ahead.  Running Deer reserves the right to cancel an activity at short notice, without the need to give reasons, if that critical number has not been reached.  In these circumstances you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to participate in a comparable activity on another date.
  • You, our client, acknowledges that there may be times when Running Deer is forced to alter or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control.  Running Deer will do its best to give you as much notice as possible and as such you accept that Running Deer is not liable for any losses arising as a result of that cancellation or alteration of the activity.
