Working from home does have some benefits but this blog is about all the things I miss! What do I miss?
Many things in life tell us what to think, maybe learning *how to think* is AS or even MORE important? How and what to think?
It has been strangely quiet at the woods. The school is closed, our teachers are working from home supporting students with welfare calls and video link lessons, online support packages and workbooks.
Whilst the whole country seems to be holding its breath at the moment, the responsibilities of running a business, and more importantly caring for our animals doesn’t change.
I truly believe that good is everywhere and that good things can be found in the most difficult of situations. Sometimes, in difficult times such as these, it takes a little hard work to find the good, but it is always there.
So, what is everyone doing during these strange times? For us here at Running Deer we have been asked to work from home doing some extra training; my workload so far has consisted of attachment, equality and equity and inclusive education.
So as you are all aware of the mad situation going on in the world right now I won’t bore you with the details because like me I’m sure you’re all trying to get away from it.
In that strange way that sometimes happens, various threads occurring in my life have all come together in a fortuitous coincidence.
After the last few months of rain, rain, and more rain I'm sure like me you are appreciating the sun. Spring is here!
