Family Bushcraft Days
We all lead such busy lives that time with our family can be precious. Spending a day in the woods around the camp fire, with no distractions is a great way for your family to spend quality time together.
Running Deer’s Family Bushcraft Days are based in Butterdon Wood, Moretonhampstead on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor, Devon. Our adventures are run by experienced bushcraft instructors who provide you with the opportunity to learn how to live outdoors…plus you have fun too!
- Den building.
- Camp crafts such as whittling, spoon carving and walking stick making.
- Fire lighting and the principals of making fire.
- Animal tracking.
- Wild food foraging.
Running Deer’s Family Bushcraft days are the perfect way for your family to unwind and enjoy a great day out in the woods. What better way to spend time together than with fun activities, good food, stories around the camp fire, and the most important element of any bushcraft day – marshmallows!
Our family bushcraft days cater for up to 5 people. Please contact us for further information.
