Running Deer School
Running Deer School in Devon is a DfE registered Independent School for young people with Special Educational Needs. We provide high support and specialist education for students who are unable to cope in mainstream education.
Our practical skills and therapeutic education enables young people to overcome barriers to learning; designed to stimulate and challenge them, supporting their personal development, improving confidence, self esteem, communication, social and emotional well-being.
We specialise in working with young people with learning, social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, those on the Autistic Spectrum – including Aspergers Syndrome and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance); Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Attachment and Trauma, mental health issues and those considered hard to reach.
